Key ideas

• Start from the home page: choose a design type — an Instagram post, a flyer, a presentation — and Canva sets the right size.
• Pick a template and change it: click any text, photo or shape to edit it.
• The side panel holds Elements (shapes, icons and photos), Text, Uploads for your own pictures, and more.
• Your designs save themselves as you work; find them all under Projects.
