Key ideas

• Download FL Studio only from the official Image-Line website, image-line.com.
• The free trial has every feature, so it is enough for this course. Its one limit: a project you save cannot be opened again until FL Studio is bought, so finish each exercise in one sitting and export it as audio.
• Installing adds the program with its built-in instruments and effects.
